I have really got into podcasts in the last year or so.
Depending on what mood I’m in I enjoy blogging/digital marketing, general chit-chat and educational podcasts.
Also, listening to podcasts is also one of the things I do if I can’t get to sleep and I find that even if I don’t get to sleep, it’s always a relaxing activity to calm your mind.
This post will give you a list of podcasts that I really enjoy listening to, so if you’re looking for some new podcast recommendations – here they are.
What She Said
What She Said is the blogging podcast by Lucy Lucraft. I’ve listened to nearly every episode of Lucy’s podcast and it’s one of my favourites for blogging tips and inspirational business-women.
Exciting Emails is Vix Meldrew’s podcast all about growing your blog and digital presence. Vix has some really great tips and takes you through step by step ways that you can improve.
Grow With Soul
Grow With Soul is the podcast by Kayte Ferris and it’s such an interesting concept. Kayte offers great advice and insight on her own but she also has a series dedicated to coaching. In each coaching episode she does a live coaching session and you can pick up some great tips for yourself!
Starting the Conversation
Starting the Conversation is the podcast by Alice Benham. Alice offers honest and insightful tips on how to grow as an entrepreneur. I really appreciate business owners who get down to the honest, nitty-gritty (I hate that phrase) bits that make a successful business.
The Side Hustle Show
The Side Hustle Show by Nick Loper is a recent find of mine but I’ve already gained invaluable knowledge on how I can work on growing my online presence and tips that I can keep in mind for when I have more time to focus on my blog.
The Influencer Podcast
The Influencer Podcast is the podcast by Julie Solomon. If the title doesn’t give it away, then this podcast is all about teaching fellow influencers how to get the most out of what they do, and how they can build their online presence and achieve their online goals.
I say ‘educational podcasts’ but I feel like I learn something in every podcast I listen to. What I mean by this are podcasts that I always come away from feeling like I’ve learned something about myself, or I’ve learned things that I can put into action for a better life.
Practical Positivity is the podcast by Sophie Cliff. I like Sophie’s podcast because each episode is always something you’re just needing to hear that day – y’know what I mean? She shares tips on how to live a better life, basically, and I’m always looking for ways to get more out of life.
The Couragemakers Podcast
The Couragemakers Podcast is the podcast by Meg Kissack. Meg’s podcast is all about helping you find out what makes you tick and how you can implement that for a better, more rewarding life.
Get Up and Grow Girl
Get Up and Grow Girl is the podcast by Leela Sule. This podcast is all about giving you the motivation and starting point to grow to be a better person. Life can be so busy sometimes and sometimes you just forget that you can always be improving yourself and your outlook, and this podcast helps you with just that.
As much as I love a ‘chit-chat’, what I have in this category are podcasts which, although you’re listening to people having a chat, you’re learning.
Happy Place is the podcast by Fearne Cotton. One reason why I love this podcast is because I love Fearne, and I love dipping into the lives of other celebrities. However, what I really love about this podcast is how Fearne dives into real-life issues with other celebs that we all suffer from.
What’s the Tee?
What’s the Tee is the podcast by Ru Paul and Michelle Visage and it’s the first podcast I ever started listening to. I love these two fine specimens on Drag Race anyway, but what I really love about this podcast is that they talk about EVERYTHING. So if you’re not a fan of drag race, no problem, that barely comes up. I love hearing their take on so many issues and I find myself laughing out loud every episode!
Under The Skin
Under The Skin is the podcast by Russell Brand. I actually really like Russell Brand and I find that he actually has a very interesting take on many issues. In his podcast, Russell talks with a range of people, some celebs, some not, and talks about what’s under the skin (funnily enough). It’s very interesting hearing how other people live their lives and how they’ve changed their outlook for whatever reason.
I hope you’ve found some new podcasts that you can check out, and if you think I might like any of your favourites, please leave them in the comments below!
